About Us
St Martin's Church has been part of the community for a very long time. Worle in itself has existed since before the 'Domesday Book' was completed in 1086 and St. Martin's Church dates back as far as the 12th century. St. Martin himself, the patron Saint of Worle, was renowned for his self-denial and humility.
St. Martin's sees itself as a family church serving the community of Worle, celebrating life together during all its seasons through our shared faith in God. We are an open and friendly Anglican church seeking to be relevant to all people of different ages and backgrounds.
We assemble all together for our weekly Sunday services.
Besides the regular services, St. Martin's Church is also very popular for Baptisms (Christenings) and Wedding celebrations. Funerals are often held in the church.
